Post 'Bigg Boss 8', Soni Singh eyes more reality shows

Darpan News Desk IANS, 27 Oct, 2014 08:05 AM
TV actress Soni Singh, the latest contestant to be evicted from "Bigg Boss 8", says she wants to  “challenge ” herself with more reality shows after her stint on the controversial show.

The actress says her  “USP is dancing and performing ” and hence she wants to try her luck at the dance reality show  “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa ” and adventure show  “Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi ”.

“Now that I've faced a reality show, I feel like challenging myself with more such shows," Soni told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

"My USP is that I perform and dance well, so I think I should go for 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', and the way I have performed in all the tasks here in the 'Bigg Boss' house, I really want to go for 'Khatron Ke Khilaadi'. I am dying to do these shows, ” said the actress recently seen in a negative role in the TV show "Saraswatichandra".

Soni, who was up against Sushant Divgikar, Minissha Lamba, Sonali Raut, Gautam Gulati, Pritam Singh and Diandra Soares for this week's nominations became the fourth contestant to get eliminated from the show.

Even though the 27-year-old had formed a close knit group inside the house with Karishma Tanna and Sushant, but Upen Patel seemed to be her favourite.

“Sushant and Karishma are very good friends of mine and I think they will be with me for a long time. Upen is really close to me, he is my brother, ” she said.

When asked how she liked the  “Bigg Boss ” experience, she said:  “It was great, I had a lot of fun. Actually, I did not want to leave at all. Right now, I really want Bigg Boss to give me a wild card entry because I was having so much fun there. ”

“I used to enjoy every moment, every task every day, so I'm feeling like 'Oh god! Why did I get evicted?'. I'm going to stay with my family my entire life, but this was an experience of a lifetime and I don't know if I'll get a chance to experience it again, ” she added.

Soni admits eviction came as a surprise.

“I used to perform all my tasks really well. Even when I got hurt, I gave it my 100 percent. I thought people like me and it will stay that way, but the eviction was unexpected, ” she said when asked why she got evicted from the show.
