Post 'Bigg Boss', Gautam Gulati Eyes Bollywood

  • Post 'Bigg Boss', Gautam Gulati Eyes Bollywood
Actor Gautam Gulati, who emerged the winner of the reality show “Bigg Boss Halla Bol”, says he'll now focus more on films than television.

Apart from the “Bigg Boss” trophy, Gautam also won the prize money of Rs.5 million. He pipped Karishma Tanna, who was the runner-up of this season, followed by Pritam Singh.

The spin-off of “Bigg Boss 8” was hosted by filmmaker Farah Khan.

“Winning 'Bigg Boss' is a very big moment in my life. When the show started, I thought that I would last there for long but winning the show was never on my mind,” Gautam told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

“Since I had that fight with Karishma in the first week itself, I decided that I'll stand out and make my presence felt."

“But now, I don't have any grudges against anyone. I'm happy and would love to continue my friendship with all the fellow contestants,” he added.

From flaunting abs to the romantic moments with Diandra Soares, Gautam was always seen on the higher side on the show, amid all of the accusations made against his group 'P3G' - which comprised Pritam, Puneet Issar, Praneet Bhai and Gautam.

The “Diya Aur Baati Hum” star, who has been part of international projects like “Siddhartha - The Buddha” and “Darpok”, says “Bigg Boss” was a memorable experience for him but now he'll not do more TV shows.

“My journey inside the 'Bigg Boss' house was like a roller-coaster ride. I'll never forget the months I spent in the show. Some of the contestants did try to dominate me, but I never felt the pressure. It was like a war for me which I have won,” he said.

“All the members of 'P3G' shared a very close bonding with each other inside the show and we will continue that outside too," Gautam said.

“But I'll focus more on films now and not TV. I think it's the best opportunity for me to look forward to the big screen. I'm eager to make my Bollywood debut,” he added.

Asked what kind of films he wants to do, Gautam said: "I would love to do films which suit my personality and image like 'Vicky Donor' and 'Dhoom'."
