Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's family drama film “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” is receiving an enormous response at the box office. After making a record collection of Rs.40.35 crore on its opening day, the film continued its reign at the box office and minted Rs.31.03 crore on the second day.
 
Released on Thursday, the film, which reunites Salman with his "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" and "Hum Saath Saath Hai" director Sooraj Barjatya after a long gap of 16 years, witnessed only a 23 percent drop on the second day at the box office in comparison with its release day.
 
In merely two days after its release, “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” has collected Rs.71.38 crore, read a statement.
 
Witnessing its fast earning pace, the film is expected to cross the Rs.100 crore mark on Saturday, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
 
“#PremRatanDhanPayo is being patronised in a big way by families and that reflects in its biz. Friday was FAB, crosses Rs.70 crore in two days.
 
“#PremRatanDhanPayo Thursday Rs.40.35 crore, Friday Rs.31.03 crore. Total: Rs.71.38 crore. Hindi version. India biz. Should cross Rs.100 crore today (Saturday),” Adarsh tweeted.
 
The film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar, Armaan Kohli and Neil Nitin Mukesh among others.
