Priyanka Chopra Has Consistently Proved Herself: Shraddha Kapoor

Darpan News Desk IANS, 24 Apr, 2016 02:03 PM
Actress Shraddha Kapoor is a fan of actress Priyanka Chopra, who she feels has consistently proved herself with her work.

When asked who her idol was, Shraddha said: "I've always been a Priyanka Chopra fan. I feel that the work she has done, she has been consistently proving herself. So Priyanka Chopra."

She made the statement at the launch of a new song 'Get Ready To Fight' from her film, 'Baaghi'.

Recently Priyanka featured on the list of 100 Most Influential People for Time Magazine, and was also on the cover of it, and her 'Baywatch' co-star Dwayne Johnson also wrote an elaborate piece about her.

Shraddha had tweeted about Priyanka's achievement by terming it, "WOHOOOO! Unstoppable!!!".

Among the guys, too, Shraddha has an inspiration, someone whom she has grown up with -- her 'Baaghi' co-star Tiger Shroff.

About his action moves in the song 'Get Ready To Fight', Shraddha said: "When I saw the video, I almost fell off from the sofa. I still can't believe that."

Sharaddha said that in Bollywood movies, for the first time an actor has done this kind of action.

"It is a matter of great pride that there is an actor who has raised the level of action so high. It's a very motivational song, and I'm hoping people get inspired, I always get inspired when I see Tiger, every single time," the actress said.

"My favourite action hero is Mr. Tiger Shroff, nobody can do actions like him," Shraddha said.

The 'Aashiqui 2' star also has some action sequences in the film, where she's seen breaking bottles and banging the baddies' heads.

"For this film, how much ever action I could do in the few scenes, I have done that in the minimum time I got for training, but definitely you can't compare that to Tiger, it was very challenging," the actress said.

"I felt very good that I got to explore something new for another film. I was very scared and I was uncertain if I could pull it off, but Sabbir (Khan) sir had that belief in me and it's really nice to have that."

'Baaghi' has been directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
