Priyanka Chopra's 'Quantico' Leaves B-Town Very Impressed

    Bollywood's 'desi girl' Priyanka Chopra, who has made a powerful foray into international TV with "Quantico", has garnered support and kudos from the Indian film fraternity veterans like Shabana Azmi, Prakash Jha and Shekhar Kapur. For them, she's already an "international star".
     
    The former beauty queen has made her debut in the fiction space with TV series "Quantico" as Alex Parrish, a rookie FBI recruit with a mysterious past. The show premiered in India on Saturday. 
     
    The first episode laid a mysterious pitch with a terrorist attack in New York and the FBI agents under scanner and Priyanka's character is also a suspect. The storytelling switches from the past to the present, and back. The show also leaves a mysterious vibe about all of agents. 
     
    With acclaim coming her way, Priyanka is glad her hard work has paid. 
     
    Priyanka, who had earlier created waves in the foreign market with her music singles "In my city" and "Exotic", tweeted: “Overwhelmed! Glad you guys liked #Quantico. Makes all the madness, hard work and effort so worth it! Live tweeting's so much fun, must do again!”.

    The show also features actors Jake McLaughlin, Tate Ellington and Graham Rogers, who all play fellow recruits, and narrate their adventures and experiences as they train at Quantico base in Virginia, and secrets of their past start to emerge.
