Priyanka Pulled Co-actor Prakash Jha's Leg During 'Jai Gangaajal' Shoot

Darpan News Desk IANS, 23 Dec, 2015 01:44 PM
  • Priyanka Pulled Co-actor Prakash Jha's Leg During 'Jai Gangaajal' Shoot
Actress Priyanka Chopra says she got a rare opportunity to pull director Prakash Jha's leg during the shooting of their film "Jai Gangaajal"!

The film is not just directed by Jha, but also features him as an actor. And due to her seniority as an actor, Priyanka managed to have some fun!

At the film's trailer launch here, Priyanka was asked if she preferred Jha as an actor or director.

She said: "I like him as a director very much. As a co-star, I had the ability to pull his leg. Otherwise, who can claim to have the right to pull his leg? Can anyone do so when he stands and looks at you that way? You get intimidated by that.

"But I could do it because I have done more films than him as an artist."

Jha also quipped: "We had signed a contract at the beginning itself that every morning after coming on the sets, I'll touch her feet. She will give her blessings and only then I can work with her. Now if she is senior, what can be done... I'll have to consider her a senior."

In the "Gangaajal" trailer, Jha is seen referring to Priyanka as 'Madam sir'. The two are seen involved in some intense dialogues and some strong action sequences. Jha is seen as having some links to the criminals in the film and Priyanka removes him from the investigation in a particular case.

Asked if she tried to bully Jha while they were enacting the scenes, she said: "I'm aware of my limits, I wouldn't cross that line."

On a jocular note, Jha said that whenever he used to try to act, Priyanka would call him a "debut actor" and give him directions.
