Alia Bhatt is all set to knock the socks off as 'Sehmat' in her latest venture, 'Raazi'.

 

The series of posters released today showed Alia in various characters of that of a daughter, of a wife, of an independent girl, and A SPY.

 

The three posters were shared by the filmmaker Karan Johar from his official Twitter handle.

 

In one tweet he wrote, "Strong, Emotional, Fiercely Independent. The kind of daughter everyone wants but i already have! @aliaa08 . #ShadesOfRaazi #Raazi @apoorvamehta18 @DharmaMovies and @JungleePictures @meghnagulzar @vickykaushal09".

 
 

The poster showed Alia in a loving embrace of her father. It also announced that the first official trailer ofthe flick will be released on Tuesday, April 10.

 

Another tweet by Johar wrote, "A daughter, A Wife and a lot more. Wait until you discover all #ShadesofRaazi @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09 @meghnagulzar".

 

The second poster showed Alia with her onscreen husband played by Kaushal.

 
 

The third poster came under the title, "#SHADESOFSEHMAT And here's the most extraordinary one - A SPY. Wait for the poster and the trailr coming tomorrow morning!! #Raazi".

 
 

Alia and Vicky will be seen opposite each other for the first time. The film is helmed by Meghna Gulzar.

 

'Raazi' is a period film where Alia will portray a Kashmiri girl who gets married to a Pakistani army officer, essayed by Vicky.

 

It will be a spy-romantic flick, based on the 'Calling Sehmat', a best-selling book by Harinder Sikka. The film is set to hit theatres on May 11, 2018.
