Rakesh Roshan On Hrithik-Kangana: If Hrithik Reveals Truth, It Will Shock

Darpan News Desk IANS, 26 Sep, 2016 01:42 PM
The filmmaker was speaking to Hindustan Times and said, “Hrithik is different.” Without naming Kangana Ranaut, he added, “Even when someone was spreading lies about him, he chose to stay calm and dignified. If he does choose to come out with the truth, it will shock everyone.”

The filmmaker also spoke about clash between Hrithk Roshan’s Kaabil and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees. “I had announced my film in February last year.

A sudden announcement about the release of another movie (SRK’s Raees) is a little unethical. However, I can’t stop any film from releasing on the same day… We have met a couple of times.

I have told him (Shah RukhKhan) that nobody is going to gain out of this clash. I have also explained to him that I can’t shift my film’s release date, as I am a little superstitious. I would have changed the date had I not announced the film. I don’t have an ego.”

Earlier, Hrithik had also told media regarding the Kangana issue that truth was on his side. “When truth is on your side you don’t need support,” Hrithik had said thumping his chest to express victory and pride.

At an event in Delhi, Kangana had said about Hrithik without naming the actor, “The incident I faced recently is very different from what I faced in the past. This time there were no legal proceedings against me. There was lot of media drama, threats, lot of slut shaming but there was no case filed against me. There was no question of fighting it legally.”
