  • Ranbir Apologises To Govinda For Removing His Cameo From Jagga Jasoos, Says It's Best For Film

Govinda was really angry with the makers of Jagga Jasoos for chopping off his scenes from the film. Now, Ranbir Kapoor, one of the producers of the film, has responded to it.

He is very apologetic in his clarification and says that it’s ‘irresponsible’ but necessary for the sake of his film.

In a conversation with DNA, Ranbir said, “He told The Indian Express, "Unfortunately the entire track has been chopped off; it is our fault, Basu and mine. We had started this film very prematurely, without a complete script.

The character had completely changed, and the film was taking so long. It is very irresponsible, and very unfair to cast a great legend like Govinda and not give justice to his role. It is very unfortunate the way things panned out. We are apologetic, but it is for the best for the film that we had to cut that track out."”

An irate Govinda had gone on a Twitter rant against the makers of Jagga Jasoos on Friday, slamming them for removing his portions from the film.
