Ever since Ayan Mukerji has joined the Instagram family he has been revealing fascinating details about his upcoming fantasy film ‘Brahmastra’.

Director and writer Ayan took to Instagram on Wednesday sharing another piece of information.

Ayan shared a picture featuring actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and himself.

He wrote: “and then, there were 3... from our vfx studio in london, way back in 2016. these were early days on this movie. alia was the new force in our creative life... the brief was simple... ranbir and alia needed to work as one unit and that relationship was more important than their individual characters because at it’s heart, our movie is... a love story... There has been a lot of love since then. After all, Love is Brahmastra’s guiding Light #brahmastra #lovestory”.

It was recently announced that Ranbir will play a man with special powers. He is named Shiva while Alia’s name is Isha.

Ranbir and Alia will be sharing the screen space for the first-time-ever in the fantasy drama.

The shooting of the film has been done around the globe, in countries like Bulgaria, New York, and in Mumbai, among other places.

Apart from Ranbir and Alia, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Tollywood actor Nagarjuna.

‘Brahmastra’ is the first part of a sci-fi trilogy. The movie is scheduled to release around Christmas this year.
