Mondal became an overnight social media sensation after a video of her singing Lata Mangeshkar's soulful number "Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai" on a railway platform went viral on the internet.
It also paved the way for her phenomenal rise from a street singer to a debutante playback singer in Bollywood.
Ever since her acting debut in 2015 Bhumi Pednekar has worked with talented directors like Sharat Katariya, R.S Prasanna, Abhishek Chaubey and Zoya Akhtar among many others. The actress says she has been fortunate enough to get the trust of some of the best filmmakers of the country.
Actress Rakul Preet Singh is taking belly dancing lessons for her next film "Marjaavaan". She says getting all the moves right for the intricate dance form is not easy.

After the news of veteran filmmaker and Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan's maternal grandfather J. Om Prakash's death broke out, a string of celebrities from the Hindi film fraternity took to social media to condole his demise.
No matter in which corner of the world one was stuck in, former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj would always go out of her way to help people in need.
