Ranveer Singh Reminds Amrita Rao Of Kishore Kumar

Darpan News Desk IANS, 19 Jan, 2015 11:24 AM
  • Ranveer Singh Reminds Amrita Rao Of Kishore Kumar
Actress Amrita Rao, who has worked with superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan since her debut in 2002, says she is eagerly waiting to work with Ranveer Singh as he reminds her of legendary actor Kishore Kumar.

Amrita was present at an event when she was asked about with whom she wanted to share screen space in future.

To that, she said: "I've worked with actors from Shah Rukh Khan (in 'Main Hoon Na') to Amitabh Bachchan (in 'Satyagraha'). I've been very fortunate. But maybe Ranveer Singh! He reminds me of Kishore Kumar, and I'm a big fan of Kishore Kumar."

"If I get a chance to work with him (Ranveer Singh), I think it would be very interesting," she added.

Amrita, who has appeared in family-oriented films like "Vivah", "Welcome to Sajjanpur", and "Jolly LLB" among others, says she would love to do similar films in future as well.

"After 'Vivah', I did a Telgu film 'Athidhi' (2007) with Mahesh Babu. It was a big hit. After that I did 'Victory' (2009), 'Short Kut: The Con is On' (2009), 'Jolly LLB' (20013) and 'Love U...Mr. Kalakaar!' (2011). All these films were clean family films," Amrita said.

She says she left too many films in her career because she wanted that "whenever I look back after several years, I feel good about myself".

On the film front, Amrita is currently busy with Prakash Jha's next yet untitled film.
