Raveena Tandon bats for good parenting

    Actress Raveena Tandon believes that parents need to teach their children "the value of everything".
     
    Raveena, who was last seen on the big screen in "Bombay Velvet" and featured in a digital film "Jai Hind", has two children Rasha, 10, and Ranbir, 8, and she had adopted two girls in 1995. 
     
    At the time of adoption the girls were aged 11 and 8 years.
     
    "As parents we need to teach our kids the value of everything, even the value of a rupee for that matter. As per my opinion the most important factor in a child’s upbringing is the atmosphere. 
     
    "Hence, parents need to ensure that their child is brought up in a strong, stable, normal and positive environment. This would make their child happy, healthy and positive," Raveena said in a statement. 
     
    The actress is a part of BIG FM's campaign "Badon Ki Pathshala", which aims to help young parents plan for their children's future thoughtfully. 
     
    The show will conclude on October 30.
