Rewarding To Have Two Of My Films Releasing In June: Diljit Dosanjh

    Actor Diljit Dosanjh finds it "rewarding" that two of his films "Udta Punjab" and " SardaarJi 2" is set to release in June.
     
    "It's rewarding to have two of my biggest films releasing this June in a weeks gap. I am hoping both the films find tremendous success and audiences should like the work we have put in for both these projects,” Diljit said in a statement.
     
    Diljit is marking his Bollywood debut with "Udta Punjab", which also stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
     
    The Abhishek Chaubey directorial highlights the issue of rampant drug abuse among the youth in Punjab. Shahid Kapoor is seen essaying the character of a high-on-drugs, long-haired rockstar Tommy Singh who sings with glee and abuses with impunity. 
     
    Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Phantom Productions, "Udta Punjab" is set to release on June 17.
     
    On the other hand, "Sardaarji 2" is directed by Rohit Jugraj and produced by While Hill Productions. It is slated to release on June 24 this year. The film also has Sonam Bajwa and Monica Gill playing important roles.
