Richa Chadha Admires Demi Moore

Darpan News Desk, 03 Nov, 2016 12:10 PM
Actress Richa Chadha says she admires Hollywood star Demi Moore for her endeavours to "abolish sexual slavery and trafficking".

Richa added that they also "exchanged a few words on cinema" while working together in David Womark's Indo-American production "Love Sonia".

"I admire that she's a world renowned personality and still makes time and makes the effort for Thorn -- her company that works to abolish sexual slavery and trafficking. I think we must aspire for the same," Richa said in a statement.

She added: "Of all the work she has done in films, I'm most inspired by her films like 'Ghost' and 'Very Good Girls'. We spoke about child sex trafficking which is also what the film was about and also exchanged a few words on cinema."

Directed by Tabrez Noorani, "Love Sonia" also features veteran actor Anupam Kher and actress Frieda Pinto.

"Love Sonia" depicts the brutal realities of human trafficking across the globe and the film will also be shot in Mumbai followed by a schedule in Los Angeles.

"I met her on the sets of 'Love Sonia' in LA and was moved by her humility in our meeting. She was doing a scene with Mrunal Thakur and was completely into it," the actress said.
