Rishi Kapoor Feels Sooraj, Athiya Are Stars In Making

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Nov, 2015 12:29 PM
  • Rishi Kapoor Feels Sooraj, Athiya Are Stars In Making
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor says he sees potential in newcomers Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty to emerge as stars and shine in the world of glitz and glamour.

After watching their first movie "Hero", Rishi took to Twitter to praise Sooraj, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab; and Athiya, daughter of actor Suniel Shetty.

Rishi, who has been in the cinema industry for about six decades, also asserted that the star kids will “surely” make their parents proud someday.

“Saw 'Hero' partly on TV and thought was slick and both Athiya and Sooraj excelled as newcomers. Confident kids. Will surely make parents proud,” Rishi shared.

Directed by Nikkhil Advani, "Hero", which was backed by superstar Salman Khan, was a remake of Subhash Ghai-directed 1983 film of the same name.

“Hero” may have received lukewarm response at the box-office, but Sooraj and Athiya have left an impression on the minds of audience and cinema stalwarts.
