Riteish Deshmukh gets 500,000 Instagram followers

    Actor Riteish Deshmukh says he has a following of 500,000 fans on photo-sharing website Instagram.
     
    The 36-year-old, who is married to actress Genelia D'Souza and has a son Riaan, took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the news along with a "thank you" note.
     
    "We are 500,000 on Instagram #RiteishDeshmukh - thank you for being so wonderful - Kuch aur Khachakkkkk ho jaaye," he tweeted, along with a photograph in which he can be seen wearing a turban and giving a thumbs up to his fans.
     
    Riteish, who is the son of former chief minister of Maharashtra late Vilasrao Deshmukh, made his Bollywood debut with 2003 film "Tujhe Meri Kasam" and went on to star in films like "Masti", "Heyy Babyy", "Dhamaal" and "Housefull". 
     
    The "Ek Villain" actor keeps his fans and followers updated by frequently sharing news and photographs of himself on social media.
     
    Riteish will next be seen in "Bangistan" and "Bank Chor".
