Sagarika Ghatge Reveals Wedding Plans With Zaheer Khan: 'Marriage Date Will Be Finalised After IPL'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 25 Apr, 2017 01:10 PM
After keeping their fans curious about their rumoured relationship for months, Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan announced their engagement via social media on Monday.

During a chat with press, Sagarika yesterday opened about her relationship with Zaheer, fondly called Zak. Known to be one of the most shy members of our cricketing team, Zaheer knew his way when it came to love. “Engagement means, he just gave me the ring basically (chuckles), but it was a complete surprise for me,” Sagarika said while telling us how Zaheer proposed to her.

Now that they are engaged, the obvious question follows — when is the wedding taking place? “Nothing is planned as of now, we haven’t planned anything and will start preparing as soon as the IPL is over. Then we will decide what and how the wedding will be like. This (engagement) happened at the spur of the moment, it was such a great surprise!” the Bollywood beauty said.

Talking about her excitement of finally being engaged to the love of her life, Sagarika said, “I don’t feel different than how any other girl would feel at this point. I am very very happy that I am going to spend the rest of my life with the right person. Quite excited that he is the one, and I will be spending my life with him.”

On Monday, Zaheer and Sagarika revealed their engagement. “Never laugh at your wife’s choices. You are one of them !!!  Partners for life. #engaged @sagarikavghatge,” Zaheer wrote while Sagarika tweeted, “Partners for life !!! #engaged @ImZaheer.”
