Saif Ali Khan Chooses Alaia Furniturewalla Over Sara Ali Khan For Jawaani Jaaneman

Darpan News Desk IANS, 10 Apr, 2019 09:01 PM

Saif Ali Khan will next be seen in Nitin Kakkar’s Jawaani Jaaneman. Besides playing the lead in the film, now we hear that Saif will also be producing it.

Saif’s production house, Black Knight Films, will produce Nitin’s directorial along with Jay Shewakramani, who is also his long-time friend.

Revealing that the movie is a light-hearted family drama, Saif shared, “I’m excited about producing the film with Jay because it’s a team coming together to try and create a family comedy that’s relevant. Jawaani Jaaneman is a modern slice of life movie that people will connect to at so many levels.”

Meanwhile, earlier there were reports that Saif’s daughter Sara Ali Khan will be essaying the role of his on-screen daughter in the film.

Putting an end to all the rumours, Saif added, “I would have loved to have Sara in Jawaani Jaaneman but that would have meant her choosing this film over everything else she’s doing because we wanted it to be the first film of the person we decided to cast. I feel Sara’s career graph and the trajectory is in a good place and in a way I’m happy it’s separate from mine at the moment.”
