Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn has thanked veteran film writer Salim Khan for appreciating his latest film "Shivaay", and said it always makes a difference.
 
"Thank you Salim uncle, your appreciation always makes a difference and thank you Salman Khan for all your good wishes," Ajay tweeted on Tuesday night. 
 
Ajay has acted in, directed and co-produced "Shivaay". The film, which released on October 28 before the auspicious occasion of Diwali, saw a clash at the box office with filmmaker Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil". 
 
"Shivaay" also stars Sayyeshaa Saigal, Erika Kaar, Vir Das and Girish Karnad.
