Salman Khan Wakes Up Late, Has 'Daliya' In Breakfast

Darpan News Desk, 06 Apr, 2018 01:38 PM
  • Salman Khan Wakes Up Late, Has 'Daliya' In Breakfast

Thursday night was perhaps one of the most difficult nights for Salman Khan as he had a tough time in the Jodhpur Central Jail as Qaidi No. 106 in ward no. 2.

He ate dinner quite late and also woke up late on Friday morning.

He was served ‘daliya and doodh’ in breakfast, said DIG (Jail) Vikram Singh.

Salman met his family members in the morning. Now, the next meeting with them would be only after 15 days. He also met his lawyers. Interestingly, Salman is sharing the ward with self-styled godman Asaram, who is in the jail since 2013 in connection with a rape case.

He has a simple wooden bed, a rug and a cooler in his cell. He was served ‘chana dal’, cabbage and a chapati for dinner.

However, there is some relief for the actor as he will not have to share toilet.

“He has been lodged in a separate barrack, so there is an independent toilet. We are thinking of keeping two to three people with him in view of his security. He has been drinking normal water provided to him and did not demand mineral water,” Singh said.

He was upset on hearing that his bail plea had been deferred by the District and Sessions Court in Jodhpur on Friday morning.

Unofficial reports said as soon as he reached the jail premises, he was surrounded by a few Home Guards who sought autographs and selfies, but he folded his hands and said 'namaste' to them.
