Bollywood star Salman Khan has praised the trailer of his biggest competitor Shah Rukh Khan's forthcoming film "Happy New Year" (HNY), but not without promoting his recent gold-spinner "Kick".
 
"Jst saw happy new year ka promo, it's Kick ass," Salman tweeted late Thursday night.
 
The tweet made "Happy New Year" director Farah Khan smile ear to ear.
 
"Yayyyyyy that makes me soo HAPPY," Farah posted on her Facebook page.
 
The HNY trailer was launched at a glitzy event here Thursday, with the film's cast and crew in attendance. The movie, a heist entertainer, stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood and SRK in key roles. It is likely to cash in on the festive season with a release around Diwali.
