  • Shoot of '24' season two to start soon
It’s time for Anil Kapoor’s TV show "24" to return! Actor-producer Anil Kapoor, who was busy with his film commitments, will start shooting for its second season from October, according to a source.

“Anil took a break from movies to do the first season of '24'. Likewise, he had to take a break from television to complete his two movie assignments - Zoya Akhtar’s 'Dil Dhadakne Do' and Anees Bazmi’s 'Welcome Back'. That done, he is all set to begin shooting '24' again," said the source.

The pre-production for "24" season two has been on for months.

Anil, 57, made his television debut with the Indian adaptation of the hit international TV series "24", which was aired on Colors channel.

The espionage drama "24" showed ATU chief Jai Singh's (played by Anil Kapoor) journey as he races against time to save Prime Ministerial candidate Aditya Singhania (Neil Bhoopalam) from assassination.

Actors like Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Tisca Chopra, Anita Raj and Mandira Bedi too were part of the show, which was co-produced by Anil Kapoor Film Co and Ramesh Deo Productions, directed by Abhinay Deo and adapted by Rensil D'Silva.
