Silly To Say Anything On SRK's Credentials: Zoya Akhtar

Darpan News Desk IANS, 06 Nov, 2015 10:32 AM
Bollywood filmmaker Zoya Akhtar says Shah Rukh Khan is a "loyalist" and it's "silly" to raise questions on his credentials.

"It is too silly to prove Shah Rukh's credentials. He is a great loyalist to this country, it's stupid to say something like this about him. And he's got a billion people supporting him. Shah Rukh is fine," Zoya said here when asked about the controversy wherein some politicians attacked SRK for his comment on "extreme tolerance" in India.

Commenting on the 'award wapsi' trend that has caught on among artistes across the cinema, art and literature worlds, Zoya said: "I think it is the most peaceful way of saying things, expressing things. I support them. If I had the national award, I would possibly return it."
