Darpan News Desk IANS, 25 Jun, 2016 04:10 PM
  • Sonu Sood on Salman Khan's Rape Comment: Mistakes Happen
Actor Sonu Sood has defended his Dabangg co-star Salman Khan, who has courted controversy for his rape comment.

Several Bollywood and television celebrities have publicly condemned Salman, who recently compared himself to a 'raped woman' while filming Sultan.

"Salman is a great guy. I think sometimes people say something. Mistakes happen," Sonu told reporters at the IIFA Rocks green carpet.

When Sonu was asked whether Salman should have been careful with his comment, he said: "I think everyone should be careful." Salman also walked the green carpet last night along with many stars but he chose to avoid the media.

Sonu will soon be seen in Kung Fu Yoga with Jackie Chan and he said that the Chinese superstar is the most humble and grounded person he has ever met.

"I had a great time working with him. He is the most humble and grounded person I have ever met. He is a true legend," said Sonu.

Kung Fu Yoga is a multi-lingual action-adventure comedy film directed by Stanley Tong. It also stars Amyra Dastur.
