  • Sridevi's Tribute To J Jayalalithaa On Twitter With Old Photo
As the whole film industry is mourning her death, actress Sridevi took to Twitter and shared a lovely picture with Amma.

The actress also started her career with Tamil films and was fortunate enough to share the screen space with none other than Jayalalithaa in film Aathi Parasakthi, in which Jaya portrayed the role of Goddess Shakti while Sridevi essayed Lord Kartikeya.

She also posted a rare picture of the good old days with the post. She remembered her for being the most dignified, cultured & caring lady and wrote:

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth - Sridevi's co-star of several films and whose movie Billa was reportedly rejected by Jayalalithaa - also tweeted after the politician's death. He wrote: "Not just Tamil Nadu but India has lost a brave daughter. I pray to God to rest her soul in peace."

Other tributes pured in from Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini (whose husband Dharmendra co-starred with Jayalalithaa in her only Hindi film, 1968's Izzat) and Rishi Kapoor.
