SRK basks in 'Pathaan' success, buys Rs 10-cr Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge SUV

Mumbai, March 27 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has been garnering a lot of audience appreciation for his blockbuster 'Pathaan', has bought a mean machine. The actor is known for his love for cars and owns an impressive fleet of cars like Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz.
The latest car to join the fleet is Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge SUV that costs over Rs 10 crore with personalised customisations. A video of SRK's new car has been doing round on social media.
The King of Bollywood was recently spotted driving his new car on the streets of Mumbai at night. SRK's new car comes in an Arctic White paint while the interiors are matched to a white leather. It also has the signature '0555' number plate.
Looks like the massive success of 'Pathaan' has made the superstar splurge on the luxury SUV.
SRK owns a Phantom Drophead Coupe, Land Rover Range Rover Sport, and the electric BMW i8. He also owns a Toyota Land Cruiser, Mitsubishi Pajero, and BMW 6-series Convertible alongside Hyundai Santro and a Creta.
For the uninitiated, Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are among few Bollywood celebrities who own Rolls Royce.
Preparations have also started at the Suryagarh Hotel. Special security arrangements have been made to monitor the security of the VVIP guests who have been invited in the wedding. Sources said that a wedding planner company in Mumbai is looking after the arrangements.
The couple is coming together for a comedy-drama which is penned by popular author Chetan Bhagat. The shoot for the film has already culminated and was shot in Mumbai. Angad will be playing the character of Raghavan Rao and Neha plays the role of his wife, Savi.
The overseas gross on day 7 is at Rs. 15 crore. In 7 days, 'Pathaan' has recorded $29.27 million (Rs. 238.5 crores) in the overseas territories alone, while nett collection in India stands at Rs. 330.25 (Hindi - Rs. 318.50 crores, dubbed - Rs. 11.75 crores).
After a lull of nearly two years, cinephiles can finally look forward to all kinds of cinematic treats this year. 2023 is all geared up to welcome a fresh line-up of titles ranging from blockbusters and jaw-dropping action extravaganzas like Pathaan, Tiger 3, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Jawan to inspiring biopics and crime thrillers like Maidaan and Animal.
Shah Rukh Khan has thanked, without naming anyone, "all those" whom he had "made calls to", for enabling "Pathaan" "to be watched by people with love". He said this at a nationally televised interaction with the media and fans at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. Journalists were not allowed to pose questions at the event organised by Yash Raj Films on Monday.
Filmmaker Anurag Basu hosted a Saraswati puja and it was attended by a string of Bollywood personalities including Rajkummar Rao and wife Patralekhaa, Kartik Aaryan and Abhishek Bachchan among many others.
