  • SRK Gets 20 Million On Twitter, Thanks Fans In Quirky Way
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, at 20 million, now has the third highest Twitter followers among celebrity Indians. He chose to thank his fans for the milestone in a quirky way.

Shah Rukh is inching closer to the twitterati of megastar Amitabh Bachchan (21.3 million) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi (20.8 million).

The 50-year-old actor on Thursday gave all credit to his fans for helping him deal with his mood swings and for helping him be a better person.

"This is not a thank you for a number 20 million that we have reached. Actually this is a thank you to tell you that you help me with so many issues of life, which happen to me," Shah Rukh tweeted.

The "Fan" star says whenever he goes to his social media timeline, his well-wishers' love and warmth change his mood.

The "Chennai Express" star also thanked "a person, who suddenly out of nowhere, shoves a currency note under my nose and insists for an autograph and to the engineers, who have done stuff on the phone, that it suddenly switches between Hindi and English and as much as I try I can't turn it back in one shot without feeling like prematurely geriatric twit."

"There are so many thank yous to issues like this that has become easy to deal with and lighter to just feel them because of all you 20 million friends and there are so many thank yous for the beautiful things you give me," he said.
