Shah Rukh Khan has hit 15 million followers on Twitter and the superstar is thankful to his fans for it.

"Thanks all for following me, not because I can lead the way but for the reassurance that you all are there in case I lose mine," Shah Rukh posted on the micro-blogging site on Wednesday night along with his photograph in which he is seen in a blue tee and looking up with a smile.

A few hours later, he tweeted about his "biggest gift".

"My biggest gift has been, the beauty I’ve had the privilege of sharing in creation... and the even greater privilege of setting it free," he shared.
