Sunil Grover To Host A Comedy Show On The Same Channel As Kapil Sharma?

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Apr, 2017 11:46 AM
  • Sunil Grover To Host A Comedy Show On The Same Channel As Kapil Sharma?
A few weeks have passed since Kapil Sharma allegedly misbehaved with his co-star Sunil Grover on a Melbourne-Mumbai flight.

While most people felt that Kapil's public apology would be enough to get their relationship back on track, those close to Sunil firmly believe that it was not heartfelt. They say that the apology looked like a calculated move by Kapil to save his public image and gain some sympathy from his fans.

Informs a source close to Sunil, "The apology came two days after the incident, which seemed more like a result of public pressure. Kapil had even unfollowed Sunil on Twitter the next day after returning from Australia. If he had any repentance, he would have personally apologised to Sunil and the rest of the team.

Kapil used terms like, 'If I have hurt you unintentionally...' Of course, he has hurt Sunil and he can't get away saying that he was under the influence of alcohol. It's not easy for Sunil to forget the incident. He has now made up his mind and is in no mood to return to Kapil's show."

Now zccording to a latest report in India Today, Sunil finalised a deal with the channel executives in a closed door meeting recently. The report quotes a source as saying that Kapil Sharma’s rumoured ex-girlfriend Preeti Simoes is going to be closely associated with the show. Simoes was earlier the creative director of The Kapil Sharma Show.

What is even more interesting is that the channel is working out a slot for the new show, one that doesn’t clash with Kapil’s popular The Kapil Sharma Show.

Ali Asgar, who played Nani, and Chandan Prabhakar will also join Grover. Sugandha Mishra will also be an important part of the team. Their roles, however, haven’t been revealed yet

On the other hand, Kapil Sharma is finding it hard to keep his team intact. Still Sumona and Kiku Sharda are considered parts of his team.
