Taapsee Happy With Response To 'Naam Shabana' In Middle East

Darpan News Desk IANS, 08 Apr, 2017 01:15 PM
Actress Taapsee Pannu finds it heartening that her latest movie has elicited a positive response from the Middle East.

"I'm really happy that markets like the Middle East have responded tremendously well to 'Naam Shabana'. I have been getting messages and calls from friends of the film's popularity, especially amongst the women in these places and how they are watching the film in numbers. It feels great when your work is rewarded through such gestures," Taapsee said in a statement.

The film features Taapsee as a strong female protagonist, throwing punches at the baddies and breaking their bones. It is based on Taapsee's character in Neeraj Pandey's 2015 action spy thriller film "Baby".

The movie also features Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Manoj Bajpayee.
