  • 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' Will Be A Winner: Bollywood
Bollywood celebrities have loved National Award winner Kangana Ranaut's performance in "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" and can't stop raving about her.

At a special screening of the film organised here on Tuesday, a number of celebrities including filmmakers like Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Vishal Bhardwaj, Farah Khan and Gauri Shinde, came to watch it.

They not only heaped praises for Kangana's endearing act in the film, but also praised the "great and well-directed film".

For them, Kangana and "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" are a winner this year.

"It's a fantastic film. It's a great story and very well-directed. You just watch it. It's a great film," Hirani said here.

Kashyap, whose "Bombay Velvet" failed to elicit a response he may have desired, said "'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' is an outstanding film. The sequel is so much better than the prequel."

Talking about Kangana's twin character Datto, he said "it is one of the finest characters I have ever seen".

"All performances were very good. I never laughed so much. This film will make you go 'mad'," Kashyap added.

"Tanu Weds Manu Returns" is a sequel to Anand L. Rai's 2011 hit film "Tanu Weds Manu". In the film, Kangana has a double role.

National Award winner Tigmanshu Dhulia found the sequel entertaining too.

"It is very beautiful, entertaining and a notch higher than the prequel. It's very layered and sweet film. It's a winner," Dhulia said.

"English Vinglish" director Gauri Shinde was also all praise for Kangana's "rocking performance".

"Kangana rocks. She is fantastic. It is difficult to decide on one character. She rocked completely. Even if there is a triple role, she will rock," Shinde said.

Farah Khan loved the film to the core. She was so impressed with Deepak Dobriyal's performance in the film that she said: "I want to adopt him. He is so good in the film.

"The film is outstanding. I loved it. It is so funny. Kangana is awesome in the film. R. Madhavan, Deepak Dobriyal are also good. This year Kangana rocks again."

"Tanu Weds Manu Returns" also features Jimmy Shergill and Swara Bhaskar. It will hit the screens on Friday.
