Time Is Best Inheritance For Children: Soha Ali Khan

  • Time Is Best Inheritance For Children: Soha Ali Khan
Actress Soha Ali Khan, also a mother, says the best inheritance people can give to children is time.

"Children are like wet cement, and whatever falls on them makes an impression. The best inheritance we can give to children is time, and we need to make that happen," Soha, daughter of actress Sharmila Tagore and late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, said in a statement.

"Childhood should be carefree, playing in the sun; not living a nightmare in the darkness of the soul- which is what abuse is all about. I am glad that Neeha Gupta (author) is supporting the cause of Surakshit Bachpan Fund, a movement to ensure the creation of an India that is safe and secure for children with her debut book," she added.

Gupta's book "Different" follows Nicole's adventure and her mission to save the Earth and her school. Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and actors R. Madhavan and Pooja Chopra have also lent support to her.

The author, a teenager, has pledged the accrued sales proceeds of her book to the Surakshit Bachpan Fund of Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation.
