  • TV, iPad Time For Kids Must Be Limited: Vivek Oberoi
As a father of two, actor Vivek Oberoi, who has extended support to a children's marathon here, says the time spent by youngsters on watching television or on gadgets like iPad, must be limited.

"Being a parent now, I feel that iPad time or TV time should be a bit limited, and kids should get a good exposure with each other," Vivek said here.

"Kids have started feeling that the playgrounds are empty and they're not getting people to play with. I think it's becoming an epidemic of sorts, and parents need to address it because of the physical ramifications," he said as he appreciated the concept of a Mumbai Juniorthon.

Mumbai Juniorthon will be held here on December 6. The event is for children in the age group of 6 to 15, and they will also be running for various causes. Multiple NGOs are supporting the initiative. The event intends to encourage the habit of running and other physical activities to avoid diseases and promote healthy lifestyle.

Fitness guru Micky Mehta too has extended his support for the event, which is being presented by popular group Kidzania among others.
