Former Bollywood actress and now entrepreneur and columnist Twinkle Khanna has stepped into the world of celebrity social networking on Twitter. She calls herself 'mrsfunnybones' on the micro-blogging platform.
 
"New girl in town - trying to find my way in the world of tweets and peeps," read the first post from Twinkle's Twitter handle.
 
Twinkle, who's the daughter of Dimple Kapadia and the late Rajesh Khanna, is married to superstar Akshay Kumar. After featuring in films such as "Barsaat" and "Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai", she pursued her passion for interior designing and over the years, she has cemented her space in the design world.
 
On Twitter, Twinkle, whose real name is Tina, describes herself as "A bonafide member of an ambiguous tribe of the new age Indian woman; heavily armed with the weapons of my choice: google and lame jokes."
 
Filmmaker Karan Johar gave her a warm welcome by tweeting: "Akshays gorgeous wife... my childhood best friend and named Rani's character in k2h2 ('Kuch Kuch Hota Hai') after her, is on Twitter!! TINA!!! @mrsfunnybones".
