Varun, Deepika team up for 'The Fault In Our Stars' Hindi remake

Darpan News Desk IANS, 26 Sep, 2014 11:58 AM
  • Varun, Deepika team up for 'The Fault In Our Stars' Hindi remake
Varun Dhawan and Deepika Padukone have been roped to play the lead roles for the Hindi adaptation of the international hit "The Fault In Our Stars".

"The makers believe that Deepika and Varun will do justice to the roles. 'The Fault In Our Stars' will be the third film that will bring (director) Homi Adajania and Deepika together after the successful 'Cocktail' and 'Finding Fanny'," a source told IANS.

For the film, Fox Star Studios is partnering with Dinesh Vijan.

"The Fault In Our Stars" is about two youngsters, who are terminally ill and fall deeply in love, taking them on an extraordinary journey. The casual approach and humour in the story is said to make it unconventional in treatment.

The shoot of the Hindi adaptation of "The Fault In Our Stars" will begin in March 2015.
