Varun Feels Heartened Over 'Judwaa 2' Response

IANS, 06 Oct, 2017 05:12 PM
Actor Varun Dhawan is overwhelmed with the love, he says, he has been receiving for his latest entertainer "Judwaa 2".

Varun, who has reprised the iconic roles of Raja and Prem from Salman Khan starrer "Judwaa" in the new film, said in a statement: "It is extremely heartening when you receive so much love. As an actor, you always have to entertain people. With 'Judwaa 2', our objective was to give everyone, across all age groups, a very good time at the theatres where they laugh their hearts out."

The comedy film, which also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu who slip into the shoes of Karisma Kapoor and Rambha respectively, is directed by David Dhawan.

Varun says he is delighted as an artist to have entertained audiences.

"I feel satisfied as an artist that I have made someone happy while seeing our movie. I'm most happy that I got to team up with my dad again. He is probably the most successful director in the last 30 years," added the actor, who had made his Bollywood foray with "Student Of The Year".

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, "Judwaa 2" is presented by Fox Star Studios.
