  • Vegetarianism Making A Difference For Anushka Sharma
"Dil Dhadakne Do" actress Anushka Sharma had turned vegetarian a few months ago, and she claims that she can feel the difference in herself post quitting meat.

"I've recently turned vegetarian so anyways I'm eating a lot more vegetables than what I used to earlier. And it's going great. I'm seeing the difference," said Anushka, the Pantene brand ambassador, at a press conference to a query on the importance of diet in maintaining health and hair.

"It is very important what you eat as that is what you are. So it's very important to make sure you're eating enough vegetables and drinking enough water which I've always done," said Anushka who is always maintained her svelte figure.

About her fitness regimen, she said: "I keep it very simple. I don't do too much with my skin. It's very important to manage what you eat and your lifestyle. So you have to take care of your health. Make sure you exercise as that's very essential. I see that it makes a lot of difference in me especially when it's regular."

She then quipped: "I feel like some dadi (grandmother) giving out information.'

Anushka reportedly had quit non-vegetarian food for her pet dog, Dude, who apparently, hated the smell of meat.

She also enjoyed spending time with another dog, Pluto Mehra, voiced by Aamir Khan on the sets of the film, "Dil Dhadakne Do".
