  • Victory For Free Speech: Bollywood After Scraping Of 66A
After the Supreme Court struck down Section 66A of the Information Technology Act on Tuesday, many well known faces from Bollywood, including Gul Panag, Ayushmann Khurana, Konkana Sensharma, and Shekhar Kapur, welcomed the verdict.
 
The court held that Section 66A violated Article 19(1)(a) of the constitution that guaranteed freedom of speech and expression and some of the known faces of Bollywood were pleased at the verdict.
