In a new video, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan can be seen prepping herself for the red carpet, but not without daughter Aaradhya by her side.

While Aishwarya may have attended the festival as a representative of L’Oreal Paris India, a new video shared by them shows the 43-year-old star cuddling her 5-year-old daughter and kissing her at red carpet events. Aaradhya gleefully smiled for the cameras as she walked with her gorgeous mother. Aishwarya wore a stunning red Ralph and Russo gown on the fourth day of the festival, while Aaradhya wore a blush pink dress with an adorable headband to go with it.

When asked if Aaradhya is becoming familiar with the grandeur of the festival, Aishwarya said she likes to photobomb her photos with fans.

“Well, I think yes, as she understands the fact that we get photographed everywhere we go — at the airport, outside our house. She knows that we go places, and sees our posters everywhere,” Aishwarya told the media in Mumbai, during a video call from the Cannes Film Festival.

“I think Aaradhya is quite aware, but I do not sit down and talk about these things,” said Aishwarya.

“There are certain things in her (Aaradhya) that make me smile... Like when fans come to me with a selfie request, she photobombs them. At times, she asks me, ‘Mamma, not me na?’ as she knows I keep requesting shutterbugs not to click her pictures. In fact, the recent airport photo that you have all seen her waving at in, has a story.”

“When I saw the picture, I asked her, ‘Whom were you waving your hands at?’ She said, ‘No Mumma, I was telling them, no, no photo please!’ Isn’t it cute? She is very spontaneous.”
