Was very difficult to shoot intimate scenes: 'Hate Story 3' director

Darpan News Desk IANS, 03 Dec, 2015 01:57 PM
Director Vishal Pandya, whose forthcoming erotic thriller "Hate Story 3", which has a high dose of romance, thrill and intimacy, says shooting intimate scenes was also "difficult" for him as a filmmaker.

"Today all these questions are asked to actors, 'Are you comfortable?' But ask the person who is making them do it and how it's done. So for me also, it was very difficult... I was also in a hurry to finish these scenes. It's not an easy job to explain or to show (intimate scenes) for me," Pandya said during a visit to the IANS office here on Wednesday with the cast of the film.

The 34-year-old director, who is currently waiting for the film to release this Friday, feels there are certain scenes an actor doesn't want to do but has to do since it's a part of their job as the "script and the role" demands it.

"It's part of our job... there are some things (scenes) that you don't want to, but you have to do it... So, it's same with the actors and directors. They don't want to (do it), but since the script demands and the role demands, so they have to," he said.

"Hate Story 3" features actors Sharman Joshi, Zarine Khan, Karan Singh Grover and Daisy Shah.
