  • WATCH: Aamir Khan Urges People To Help Those Affected In Gujarat And Assam Floods

If there is one actor who always provides help to those who have been in need, it is Aamir Khan.

Today, the actor posted a video on Twitter and urged people to come out support those affected in the Gujarat and Assam floods.

In the video, the 'Dangal' star said, "Friends, many areas of Assam and Gujarat have been affected by heavy floods. And there, our brothers and sisters who are staying have to face lot of difficulties. Lots of lives have also been lost and there has been a huge financial loss too. We are helpless in front of nature but we can help those staying there."

Adding, "I am appealing all to help the brothers and sisters staying in Assam and Gujarat. Please contribute to the CM relief fund. I am also going to contribute. Please support me. Thank you. Jai Hind."

It should be noted that, Aamir Khan's show 'Satyamev Jayate' created waves in the country with its two seasons. Aamir's voice was not only heard but some of the suggestions and requests made on his show were implemented.

For the unversed, heavy rains due to southwest monsoons have wreaked havoc in Gujarat as more than 25,000 people have been evacuated from parts of north and central Gujarat.

On the work front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in 'Thugs of Hindostan' alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif.
