WATCH: Alia, Shahid At Romantic Best In 'Shaandaar' Trailer

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Aug, 2015 01:03 PM
There's fun, romance, humour, glamour, comedy and more in the first trailer of "Queen" director Vikas Bahl’s upcoming entertainer "Shaandaar", which features actors Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

The over three-minute trailer, launched on Tuesday, introduces Shahid as Jagjinder Joginder and Alia as Alia, and their onscreen romance is palpable with funny and quirky scenes.

Shahid looks dapper with a beard, while Alia is seen sporting a casual look -- with one moment in the trailer featuring the "Highway" actress in a ravishing pink bikini -- which has turned out to be eye-catching for the Twitterati.

The movie is set around a destination wedding, and how love blossoms between Alia and Shahid's character.

His romance with Alia apart, Shahid's chemistry with his real life father Pankaj Kapur on reel also seems like it will be a treat to watch out for.

The upcoming romantic comedy movie, which revolves around destination wedding is produced by filmmaker Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane.

"Shaandaar' also features Sanjay Kapoor, Sanah Kapoor, Sushma Seth, Diljit Dosanj, Shibani Dandekar and Anjana Sukhani. It is slated to hit the theatres on October 22.
