Web Shows Gave Gaurav Chopraa 'Contrasting Roles'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 02 Apr, 2019 10:24 PM

Actor Gaurav Chopraa, known for TV shows such as "Uttaran" and "Bigg Boss", says that for the past few years his focus has been the digital space as he wanted to experiment with "contrasting and different roles".

"For the past two and a half years, I was focusing on digital platforms as I wanted to experiment with contrasting and different roles. An actor always tries to showcase varieties in their roles," Gaurav said in a statement.

Then came an offer which was "very hard" for him to refuse.

"The concept of 'Ek Shakti... Ek Aghori' (TV show) is unheard of and the intrigue and eccentricity surrounding the show along with different layers of the character, are what drew me to the character. I am happy and excited about the show," he said.

A story of love, mysticism and deceit, the fiction show will air on Zee TV soon.
