Well read actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who graduated from one of the best girls' college of Delhi University, will essay a college dropout in her new film "Aur Devdas".
 
Talking about her role in Sudhir Mishra's political thriller, Aditi said: "My character's name is Chandni, who is a college dropout. She gets lost in the political world. The story is narrated through her point of view. So it's a different kind of Devdas."
 
Aditi, who was last seen on the screen in "Wazir", said she can't comment much on the film because it's too early to talk about it.
 
However, she said: "It's a political film, and a very different kind of 'Devdas'. It is set on a political scenario, with Sudhir sir's interesting characters and his own typical take on 'Devdas'."
 
"Aur Devdas" also stars Rahul Bhat and Richa Chadha along with Saurabh Shukla, Dalip Tahil, Anil George, Deepraj Rana, Saurabh Tyagi and Anurag Kashyap.
