What Does Dad Mean To You, Asks John Abraham

Darpan News Desk IANS, 05 Jun, 2015 02:05 PM
Bollywood actor-producer John Abraham features in a special video, in which he shares the value of his father in his life and asks his fans to share how special their bond with their dad is.

The video is part of the second edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label's campaign for Father's Day, which falls on June 21.

The Johnie Walker Blue Label #DATEWITHDAD campaign offers patrons a chance to share a memorable experience with the most important man in their life - their father. What is your most memorable story with your dad -- this simple question is the premise of this campaign, fronted by John.

John shares a personal and warm memory of his own father and the difference it made to his life.

Excited to be part of the #DATEWITHDAD campaign, John said in a statement: “The idea of giving a rare opportunity to those who want to thank their dad is so relatable and inspiring. My father has been a constant source of inspiration and support throughout my life. This is the perfect opportunity for me to tell him what he means to me.”

Set across the digital and online space, the Johnnie Walker Blue Label #DATEWITHDAD website will not only host these heartfelt moments, but also give consumers a chance to win a bespoke luxury experience with their father.

Three winning participants who share the most interesting moments with their father, will get the chance to travel with their dad to Mumbai, for a one-day extravaganza.

Besides a bespoke evening of bonding, the father and son/daughter will also get a chance to reminisce and share their most special moments with John and his father Abraham John.

“This year we build upon last year’s much admired #DATEWITHDAD campaign that allows patrons to enjoy a rare experience with their father in a manner befitting their achievements,” said Bhavesh Somaya, head of luxury, United Spirits - a Diageo Group Company.
