  • Watch: When Ranveer Singh And Farooq Abdullah Shook A Leg With Barkha Dutt
Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday showed some of his finest dance moves here with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh on the tunes of "Malhari".

Confessing his love for Bollywood, Abdullah said if not a politician then he would have explored the world of showbiz.

As soon as Ranveer pranced his way towards the stage to grab the Entertainer of the Year award at the NDTV Indian of the Year 2015 awards ceremony on Tuesday on one of the tracks of "Bajirao Mastani", Abdullah joined the Bollywood star on the stage. The duo's impromptu jig came as a delightful surprise for all the attendees.

"Rather than a politician I would love to be an actor. You know why because what they do we don't do and I would love to do what he does. I will have to wait for the next life," said the politician.

To which Ranveer replied, "I think Mr (Amitabh) Bachchan would be in trouble if you took to acting".

The actor has won multiple awards for the year 2015 for his role as a rich guy finding an aim in life in "Dil Dhadakne Do" and a mighty warrior in grand "Bajirao Mastani". He brought in a wave of fun with his witty sense of humour as he accepted the award.
