When I Was 13: Rahul Bose Takes Celebs Down Memory Lane

    Rahul Bose turned nostalgic on Twitter as he shared memories from when he was 13. He started a campaign asking social media users to share memories or experiences from when they had entered their teens.
     
    #WhenIWas13 was trending on the social media platform courtesy Rahul, who has donned the hat of a director for "Poorna", a true story of a poor girl from Telangana who created history on May 25, 2014, by becoming the youngest girl in the world to scale the Mount Everest. She was 13 when she pulled off the feat.
     
    To promote this, Rahul took to social media to share an image of himself from when he was 13. Alongside that, he posted: "Yup, that's me #WhenIWas13. Now that I've taken the plunge, what did you look like when you were 13? #poornathefilm."
     
    Rahul also posted a video note of himself sharing experiences from when he was 13.
     
    He wrote: "Monsoons. Feeling nostalgic. Here's me going back to #WhenIWas13 What were you doing then? @poornathefilm."
     
    Industry insiders soon joined Rahul and took a trip down the memory lane.
     
    Veteran actress Shabana Azmi shared: "I used to wear white, place a candle under my chin and go around. Janki Kutir singing naina barse @ la Woh Kaun Thi."
     
    Actress Tara Sharma Saluja recounted: "I was quite the 'muggu' studied a lot and I loved riding horses. I looked hilarious."
     
    Celebrity photographer Atul Kasbekar wrote: "#WhenIWas13 I wanted to be Björn Borg and Sunil Gavaskar rolled into one. My wish came true - I played tennis ball cricket".
     
    Composer Salim Merchant shared: "#WhenIWas13 I wanted to start my school band. We found a bass player and guitar player but no drummer. Finally got an ex-student who played drums"
     
    Witnessing the growing participators, Rahul tweeted: "#WhenIWas13 has struck a chord! That age when we think we've grown up, blissfully unaware the game's just started."
     
    "Poorna" features Aditi Inamdar, a Telengana girl, after Rahul auditioned 109 girls to bring Poorna's superhuman feat to screen.
