  • Whenever I'm With Ranveer, I Go To Different Level Of Energy: Alia Bhatt
Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh and gorgeous Alia Bhatt spelled royalty as they turned showstoppers for ace designer Manish Malhotra on the final day of the India Couture Week (ICW) 2017, in the national capital.

Having worked together in a series of ad films, the chemistry of the dapper duo was palpable.

Sharing her experience of walking the ramp with the 'Bajirao of Bollywood', Alia said, with Ranveer, she goes to different level of energy and enthusiasm. "I'm walking with Ranveer for the first time. Whenever I'm with Ranveer, I go on a different level of energy and enthusiasm because he just has that inside him. He is very special," she told the media here, post the event.

The 'Udta Punjab' actress added, "This is my second time walking for Manish's couture week. And, I remember the first time I actually came out in the public before 'Student of the Year' released was for Manish's couture show here in Delhi when Katrina was walking.

I was sitting in the audience and saying 'Wow. One day, I want to be that person walking on the ramp. It does feel fantastic to every time walk for Manish. He is like a family. He is so amazing and inspiring."

Talking about his experience of walking for one of B-Town's most loved designers, Manish, the 'Gunday' actor said, "This is very special. There's a lot of prestige attached to walking for the Manish Malhotra. All credit to him. His creativity is always flowing, he is always evolving his art and his craft, and it's here to see. It's a Manish Malhotra show, unlike any other."

Alia looked radiant on the ramp and their royal walk took our breath away. The 'Dear Zindagi' actor looked like a princess in the Manish Malhotra ensemble and the rosy trail certainly added to the glamour and the brightness of the ramp. The actress exuded glamour on the runway and looked every inch the diva that she is. Ranveer, on the other hand, carried his royal 'Allauddin Khilji' avatar into the event and looked like royalty in a sequined black sherwani.

Giving an insight about his collection, the ace designer said, "I wanted to do something different, I didn't want to do a quintessential bridal collection. For me, when you think young, when you are thinking different, you can only think of these two names. They are eclectic, fabulous, talented, they are getting better day by day and they are just superb."

Manish, known for dressing the who's who of the Indian film industry, showcased his collection titled 'Sensual Affair' on the final day of the week-long gala. His eponymous label refined its silhouettes to accentuate the curves of a woman's body.
