Why Varun Dhawan Has Shah Rukh Khan's 'Blood' With Him

Darpan News Desk IANS, 31 Oct, 2015 01:30 PM
  • Why Varun Dhawan Has Shah Rukh Khan's 'Blood' With Him
Actor Varun Dhawan feels that his "Dilwale" co-star Shah Rukh Khan is one actor who bleeds really well on screen as he uses a different kind of blood, which even Varun possesses a bottle of.

"I have a bottle of his blood, and I've written 'SRK's blood' on it and that is something that I won't use myself. I'll keep that as a memory," said Varun at the MAMI Film Festival hhere.

"We always see in films that when the heroes gets wounded, they put that blood on them. The blood that most actors use is bad, but Shah Rukh Khan's blood actually looks like real blood as if actually made from someone's real blood - it's so detailed and so real. That's why I feel he is one hero who bleeds very well on screen. And there's a technique to this which he's taught me," he said.

Varun, who has a 100 percent record at the box-office till now, feels that his record will maintain at the level. "I'm actually not that worried about 'Dilwale', because there is Shah Rukh Khan in the film."

"We worked very hard on 'Dilwale'. We've not left any stone unturned - Rohit Shetty has been working day and night to make sure we get you all the best film possible. It's a massive film and you can expect whatever you need to expect from the film and it'll still hopefully surpass your expectations. The whole idea behind the film is to just make a good film that everyone enjoys this Christmas."

Varun also said that he wants to gift Shah Rukh Khan, who'll turn 50 on November 2, a Playstation 5 whenever it'll come out.

Shah Rukh Khan is known to be a very loving father often posting certain cute pictures of his children - Aryan, Suhana and AbRam - on social media. Varun too feels the same. "He's an outstanding father - I've never met a father like him.

He just goes weak in his knees, I hope that one day when I become a father, I can become as good a father as he is. Being as busy as he is, he'll still go out of his way to make time for his children which is commendable."

"Dilwale" also stars Kajol and Kriti Sanon among others.
